MPTC teams
Senior
OUR TEAMS have been playing in the Notts LTA leagues since the end of World War 2. Back in 1952 our men's first team finished second in Division 1. In recent years, following much time in the lower divisions, the men's first team has done much to restore its former pride, claiming the Division 1 runners-up spot in the 2010-11 Winter League. The ladies have been lagging somewhat and we could really do with some keen female players.
We normally run men's, ladies' and mixed teams in the Notts summer and winter leagues. Two teams play in the Indoor League at Nottingham Tennis Centre from October to March. In 2012 we entered a men's team in the neighbouring Derby Area League.

Junior
The number of teams we run in any season depends on the number of players available and their ages. Our coach, Simon McBride, normally manages junior team play, also running mini tennis teams of his own for children who do not have club teams to suit them.
